As I lay in bed this morning contemplating my day, I could not decide whether to walk or to do a yoga routine. Since I was getting out of bed a little later than usual, it was bound to be too hot to walk. A look at the outside temperature told me it was in the high 70's... Not too cool, but not hot enough to cause heat stroke in a walking, menopausal woman. I grabbed my hat and my walking stick and headed out.
Have I ever told you how clumsy I am? I will bump me head on a cabinet that has been in the same place since forever or I can trip over some dust on the floor. Hubs usually rolls his eyes as he asks if I am all right.
This morning I was 1.5 miles into my two mile route when
this huge boulder appeared out of nowhere I stumbled over my own foot. Down I went. ROAD RASH!
I did not have to look around to see if anyone saw me because I was face down in the street along the curb of a fairly busy street. Everyone in town saw me, I am sure! One car slowed, but I'm sure that is because they were laughing so hard.
I can still laugh at myself. Or maybe I was laughing at Hubs as he got a bit woozy taking pictures of me. Such a light weight!
If you missed the post about why I am doing this, catch up here. Since I have been exercising regularly, I am sleeping better, have more energy and a clearer mind. Now if I could do something about my clumsiness...
