Born, raised and lived in Kansas all my life. Then in November of 2007, my husband and I moved to the east coast. My husband's dream has been to renovate an old house. So, here we are in a house built in 1890 and we work hard to keep it from falling down around our ears. Sometimes I wonder, "What were we thinking!?"
My blog is about what is happening in my life as I adjust to living in the south, adjust to being an empty nester, adjust to menopause, adjust to being a grandma...
This apron was started back in May. It was not a difficult pattern, but it seemed like things kept going wrong. And of course, sometimes life gets in the way...
This apron is a size small so it does not quite cover my ample waist.
The ties on this apron are really long. I should have altered them, but it was to the point I just wanted to get it off my WIP list.
What have you finished this week? Let us know at Lit and Laundry. Check out what others have accomplished this week.
I guess having my cataract surgery and getting new brakes and tires counts as finishing something, huh? What an adorable apron! I really need to re-learn how to use a sewing machine.
I love, love your apron. It's so sweet, and frilly. I would love one like this..is it hard to make? Happy finished for Friday..now on to Pink Saturday..:)
What you said about the small size apron and the "ample waist" was a joke, right? I do not see an ample waist in that photo. The apron is really cute. I would like to make one soon. I will have to buy the EXTRA LARGE size, thank you very much.LOL.

It's so cute! I actually wear aprons around the house, but this one would barely fit around one of my legs! LOL! It's adorable, though.
