Run free, Ashley.
Born, raised and lived in Kansas all my life. Then in November of 2007, my husband and I moved to the east coast. My husband's dream has been to renovate an old house. So, here we are in a house built in 1890 and we work hard to keep it from falling down around our ears. Sometimes I wonder, "What were we thinking!?"
My blog is about what is happening in my life as I adjust to living in the south, adjust to being an empty nester, adjust to menopause, adjust to being a grandma...|

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend and pet.I know how hard it is to have to give up such a dear member of the household.. Remember the Rainbow Bridge...and remember how mush you loved each other..
Oh Bea, this is heartbreaking. I know how much you love your pups as they are family members.
I dread losing my babies too. I am glad you posted about the rescue organizations though, this is very important to share. I have a post up since Friday on our Ozzie and how he is a great dog from boxer rescue too.
take care...
hugs, Suz
Hi Bea, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Ashley. My heart is hurting just thinking of you and your husbands loss. Just think of the wonderful life she had, because of ya'lls love and taking her into your home and making her feel so loved and special. I hate it when my family starts to talk about my daughter's (BellaDella) 2 beagles getting older, because I can't stand the thoughts of Bailey and Murphy not being around. Okay...enough, I can't see for the tears. Take care and know that the work you guys do with the Boxer Adoption group is greatly appreciated.
A Big Hug,
Janice
Ashley is beautiful. I'm so sorry that shes gone. Dogs are so wonderful. They are a reminder of what is good and right in this world.
We are the fortunate ones that allow dogs to be apart of our lives.., but with this acceptance come the reality that they don't live as long as we do and must leave us here to give love to other animals that needs us. I think it's a plan that is made somewhere over the rainbow bridge where Ashley will, happily, wait for you until you come to get her.
So sorry for your loss...she sure was a cute pup.
Bee!!! I am so sorry to read about Ashley. I understand. But I don't have the proper words so I send you hugs and kisses from our Petey the Boston Terrier.
So, so sorry Bea. Only time lessens this kind of hurt, but you never forget. Take care.
Oh Bea! So sorry to read this one. Hugs to you all. Glad you mentioned the Rainbow Bridge. Ashley is running free.
I have a post up since Friday on our Ozzie and how he is a great dog from boxer rescue too.
