Thanks again to Suzanne for hosting this weekly feature. Make sure you check out the other cool vintage things on her blog Coloradolady.
I have some vintage handbags to share this week.
The last one is a small bag. It is a funny shape and doesn't have a flat bottom so it is difficult to carry.
Can't wait to see what the other ladies have to share this week!

To the left is the one I am currently carrying. It is a very fine threaded tapestry. The strap is leather. Nice and roomy on the inside.
Did your mom or grandma carry one like the one on the right? My grandma had one like this and it is my favorite. When I carry this bag, I get a lot of comments.

Those purses are just beautiful, still look terrific, and are still trendy for today!
You're a lucky ducky to have them.
These are so very lovely, I know you are proud of them, and who wouldn't be.
Lovely little handbags...my fav's the second one too :)
What a beautiful collection! I enjoyed visiting your lovely blog. Take care~
These are great, so sturdy. I'm glad you use them regularly!
I love all the bags, the one at the bottom being my favorite. They're just wonderful. Happy VTT and have a lovely day..
I think my aunt had a purse like the second one. These brought back some memories...I love these purses...very nice! Have a wonderful week.
Stopped in to say hi!
Wonderful purses...don't you just feel like Queen Elizabeth with one of those on your arm! So elegant!
Oh, I love them! I love vintage accessories. Use them with pride (and the knowledge that people like me are drooling over them).
A lovely collection of tapestry bags. My mother had one. These are well cared for; I see why you get such lovely comments.
I remember my mother carrying one that looked just like the 2nd photo. They are very beautiful and now I wish I had my mothers.
Those are great treasures to have.
Fabulous handbags. I love the colors!
These purses are lovely. These days it seems like we need huge bags to carry everything and something got lost in the beauty of them.
Such nice workmanship. I wonder what they cost when they were new?
Great handbags. Such soft colors.
Happy Vintage Thingies Thursday

Lovely, lovely purses....or as my Mom and Grandmothers would have said....pocketbooks!
Elaine :)
The 'old bags' are gorgeous! I especially like the black one with roses. I also love that you use them, rather than just collecting them.
Wow! Your purses are all a delight the eyes! I think I love the last one the best!
Enjoyed!
Blessings to you!

Lovely tapestry bags. I haven't
seen them for sale anywhere for
years. Wonderful VVT!
Very pretty handbags. I like the old "train bags" that were done in tapestry also.
What beautiful handbags and how wonderful that you are not afraid to use them.
You have a terrific collection! I love all three of them. And, it's really great that you still use these. You're giving me ideas for next week's VTT.
Your handbags are classics-good for you to re-purpose them so lovingly.
